Genevieve Heme
Abby Jennings

Abby has been a member of the Kennett Symphony Children's Chorus since first grade. She was a part of the first Tyros group in KSCC with 7 singers. She has performed in Tyros, Ensemble, Chorus, and Bel Canto. One of her favorite memories in KSCC was the Pittsburgh trip in 2019. In the fall, she will be attending West Chester University. Her major is Music Education with a focus on Trombone. She also looks forward to singing at WCU. She would like to thank all of her past and present KSCC directors and interns. KSCC has been a great experience and has given her skills to succeed in music.

Genevieve Heme is a senior at Renaissance Academy and has been attending since kindergarten. She has been a member of the Kennett Square Children’s Choir for 5 years. She has also attended her school choir since it was offered to her in 3rd grade with Mrs. Keller. She has been accepted to sing at the Organization of Kodaly Educators Choir Conference consecutively for 3 years, however unfortunately they did not hold the conference this year due to the COVID- 19 crisis. Her next 4 years will be spent in New York City where she will be attending Pace University with a major in Peace and Justice Studies and a minor in Political Science. She hopes to continue her passion for choral artistry by seeking a choir to be a member of in the big city. She wants to give a big thank you to her directors and teachers, her parents and family, and her best friends for their constant support and love through the years.
